12 Feb MY MEDITATION JOURNEY
Meditation has become an almost daily practice for me. This is me this morning before I took my perch.
I sat down with a few fears rumbling around and then got up 1 hour later with 100 conviction and clarity! Boom that’s a good use of time!
I was not always committed to exercising my mind with meditation.
It actually took me a while to fall in love it.
I wanted to share my 1 1/2 year long journey in the hopes that it might inspire you OR shed light on what is possible for you.
It’s one of the life-changing tools that I now teach my clients and the results are nothing short of miraculous. 👊
👉I’d done different meditations in many program that I was a part of, and even lead others through some powerful meditations, but did not have a daily practice.
👉I’d dabbled with different types of meditations – silent, walking meditation, visualizations – I have been trained in how powerful the mind is, but felt too busy to take the time myself daily.
👉I read Dr. Joe Dispenza’s book, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself and my curiosity grew. The first time I listened to his meditation I fell asleep a few times trying to get through it. No joke.
👉I challenged myself to 30 days of meditation for 20 minutes and failed miserably. I saw how I thought my to-do list was more important and how difficult it was for me to quiet my mind.
👉In 2017 I desired to fill my year long program, Soul On Fire Mastery Program and yet as time was ticking closer I did not have anyone registered. I challenged myself to meditate every day. I visualized the participants coming and they did. The program filled with 11 participants of all different religious backgrounds, and the way that they found me and each said yes was nothing short of miraculous. The program generated over 6 figures. I was amazed.
👉 I created a meditation space in my bedroom (which I ended up not liking), then in my dancing room (I did not like that either. I felt like someone was watching me). I went outside to the view you see in the picture and I loved it. Now it’s my spot. I realized I’m soaking up all mother nature’s diving energy. There’s nothing like meditating outside. I bundle up and go sit. I realize that you can’t do this everywhere, but in California I am grateful that I can.
👉I started to keep a meditation journal to record what happened and do different meditations ranging from 20mins-1.5 hours long. You know what’s crazy…the 1.5 hour ones were the most powerful. I realized it takes me a while to get into the present moment.
👉I decided to add Dr. Joe’s book into the curriculum for the Mastery program I was leading. The participants practiced meditation and during the retreats we spent time each day in meditation. The results were amazing to witness.
👉 I bought an amazing headset that changed my meditation game. Bose Noise Cancelling.. initially the were for traveling to Bali so that I could sleep on the airplane and then I discovered that they are AMAZING for meditation. I can go much deeper inside without all of the distractions from the outer world!
👉I found Danielle Laporte’s Meditation’s and LOVED them. Especially Earth Adoration, it moved me to tears everyday as I did it. I found that I was energized by sending energy to others, even more than “working on myself”.
👉I was now on the path of meditating almost every day during the work week and once I am done I head to my desk. Now I am creating from a totally different place and I’m getting way more magical results with WAY less effort!
👉 Mid last year I started to notice that I felt “spacey” less grounded than normal and it was getting hard for me to get things done in my business. I kept meditating, but started having to imagine a tree root connecting me to the earth to ground me. I know understand that my 5-7th chakras were getting stronger than my 1-5 causing an imbalance.
👉My bestie sent me Belinda Davidson’s book, Dark to Light and I devoured it in 2 days. She’s a medical medium and shares her life experience and her belief that we are all light. That our chakra system is very important for a great life and I started to do her 30 minute meditation everyday, noticing INSTANT results in my life. I then realized that because my upper chakras were growing (from my daily meditation), but my lower chakra’s needed some love.
👉Over the past year I’ve had a few meditations that were so potent that I could see things in my future. I wish they were all like that, but when it happens it’s shocking because in both cases they were things that I would not have expected about what I am going to teach and do during the retreats during my upcoming year long program.
👉I am almost done with Dr. Joe’s new book, Becoming Supernatural and it makes me do the happy dance that I am going to do some trainings with him this year!
👉I now believe that if you are a sensitive intuitive, artist, creative, and mystic – meditation is a great tool to stay connected to your soul, keep your vibe high and magnetic, and co-create with the quantum field.
It feels like this journey is just beginning!
